Job Brief


We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.


  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade all store location’s networks and assure connectivity and DR for all in house corporate servers
  • Install and integrate new network appliances/routers/switches/etc. hardware
  • Review required and optional updates and apply as needed / appropriate
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency) and test / identify possible threats for weaknesses
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Resolve problems reported by end user

Limited MSFT administration is a plus:

  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies


  • Proven experience in a network administrator role
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network connectivity as pertains to server infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
  • Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
  • One , or more, of the following certifications is required:
    • Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA R&S)
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
