Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pizza Cook who takes pride in preparing delicious, high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. As part of the kitchen team, you will assist in the daily operations, ensure efficient food prep and cooking, and adhere to company policies and guidelines. You will work with a team to maintain consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction while ensuring a smooth and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas based on established recipes, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards with every order.
- Follow portion control guidelines to maintain cost efficiency and consistency across all pizza orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, prep areas, and food storage spaces, in line with food safety standards and company guidelines.
- Set up and stock pizza-making stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently.
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other components in advance for smooth and efficient service.
- Cook pizzas in the oven, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner.
- Keep the pizza prep station clean, sanitized, and well-organized, and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of pizzas while maintaining quality standards and company efficiency goals.
- Manage inventory of pizza-making ingredients (e.g., dough, sauce, toppings), ensuring proper storage and rotation according to company standards.
- Ensure that all pizzas are presented attractively before serving.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting with special requests and addressing any customer concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and a well-coordinated workflow.
- Ensure all pizza orders are completed accurately, on time, and to company quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and company recipes consistently.
